What's so impressive about a diamond except the mining
[Russia doesn't tend to sleep as often as he should, this is important, because when he does sleep (limbs heavy from lack of proper rest and the warmth of alcohol burning through his system) its something to be envied. Usually, he wakes up to an arm tossed around a pillow, blankets twined around his legs and he can laze about as he nurses his hangover.
This time is different.
This time, when Russia wakes up it's to more warmth than normal, almost uncomfortably warm really, and he's not sure why for the longest moment. But as he shifts and curls closer, arms tightening around something he's increasing becoming aware is not his pillow and something silky tickles his nose, Russia is more sure in the hazy notion that something is not right. He groans and blinks weary eyes, unsure exactly why he's even awake (surely it's still early!) when he catches sight of purple. A familiar purple at that.
Russia freezes, slowly pulls back to make sure he's not seeing things and that, yes that is Tieria in his arms and yes, they are both still alive. Okay, now to figure out how to get away without waking him or getting himself killed and ow why did he drink so much last night. Tieria might actually wake up as he's trying to slip away, and no he hasn't quite realized the levity of the situation. Good job, Russia.]
